Role: Fullstack Javascript Developer

Location: Remote (occasional travel to the Cardiff office required)

Salary: up to £54,000 DOE + Benefits

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

We are currently seeking full stack developers to join our growing team set reinvigorate the AA Drivinig School’s products on the web and mobile platforms. If you are looking to be challenged in a fast-paced environment delivering high quality products for one of the IK’s most recognisable brands we’d love to hear from you!

What will I be doing?

  • Develop high quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions
  • Own delivery of features end to end, analysis and design
  • Take ownership of system stability over the different environments
  • Investigate new tools/technologies/ideas to promote further improvement of the system
  • Promote and enforce best practices, existing development guidelines and continuous code improvement
  • Work closely with the product and business teams to ensure developments exceed our customers expectations
  • Deliver functionality that fully meets the requirements (Projects, BAU Change and L3 Support)
  • Be a technical lead in your technology area, responsible for code reviews of work delivered by your development team

What do I need?

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of developing web and app-based solutions
  • Extensive Javascript experience
  • Prior knowledge of payment gateway technologies is desirable.
  • JavaScript development
  • JPA, Spring, NodeJS
  • Backend and frontend development
  • Willingness to work outside of area of expertise
  • Strong understanding of QA concepts
  • AWS devops

Education and Qualifications:


  • Degree or equivalent experience

  • Passionate in building cutting-edge, high quality applications
  • Quick learner, Creative thinker, Researcher, Deliver
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
