Job Title : Senior DevOps Engineer with JAVA Background

Location : 100% Remote

Experience : 10 Years

Duration : Long term Contract

Job Description:

Client is looking for 7+ yrs. of Java development experience which morphed into a 7 Years of DevOps Engineer

· 10+ years of experience in IT as an engineer, technical lead, and/or architect

· 7+ years of experience in Java development

· 2+ years of JavaScript with React/Redux preferred

· Have prior experience in scripting tools such as Python, Groovy, YAML, Go, Gradle, Maven, Webpack etc.

· Experience with tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jira, GitLab, CICD/pipeline build scripts

· Familiar with provisioning AWS services using Terraform

· Experience with ELK, Kibana, Grifana, Jaeger Tracing/OpenTracing, Prometheus, and Datadog is a plus

· Experience creating high level designs and detailed level designs for other developers and hands on

· Ability to own a deliverable and drive it through completion

· Experience mentoring other developers

· Technical lead for a team of 4 or more developers

· Strong written and verbal command of the English language

Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and ability to discern logic from code with little to no documentation
