We are recruiting for Siemens Technology that works hand in hand with the company’s business units to ensure Siemens’ future. Technology conducts research with internal and external partners, including leading universities and promising start-ups. These collaborative endeavours focus on a wide range of future technologies with a view to securing them with patents and supporting them through commercialization. Technology also provides development services for Siemens’ business units and supports them with methods and tools related to business excellence.

What role will you play?

  • Be part of Siemens family by integrating our Sustainable Energy & Infrastructure Technology team.
  • Be incentivized to create innovation in the energy sustainability area.
  • Work with consultants and business representatives in an international environment, for our projects in the sustainability area.
  • Self-paced learning and on-job training.
  • Work in an Agile environment, integrated in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Acquire the DevOps mindset and competences.

We are looking for:
  • Bachelor/Master’s (or equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering such as, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
  • Proven experience in programming languages, such as Python, Java, etc;
  • IT skills relevant for data analysis as well as experience with SimaPro, GaBi or other LCA software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Python, and/or Matlab preferred.
  • IT competence: you have in-depth programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, databases, and other development environments.
  • You are open to other programming languages / development environments, such as low-code platforms.
  • You have expertise in digital manufacturing & industrial processes.
  • You have profound competence in energy market, and energy & resource management.
  • You are familiar with environmental assessments (LCA) and environmental impact categories.
  • Fluency in English both written and oral (mandatory).
  • Good communication and networking skills in an intercultural environment and across all management levels.
  • Team-oriented spirit and be willing to integrate an international team.
  • Be proactive, a technology knowledge seeker, work with a team and be able to solve problems.
  • Self-motivation and be capable to motive the colleagues.
  • The ability to work creatively.
  • Know how to interact with all different kinds of teams and what is expected of him/her.
