Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking to hire a passionate Intern Front-End Engineer to join our Alias development team in Toronto. Autodesk Alias is an industrial design and Class-A surfacing software providing sketching, concept modeling, surfacing, and visualization tools for industrial, product, and automotive design. As an Experience Engineer, you will work closely with our UX designers to explore and develop new interactions and workflows, enabling our users to design the products and vehicles of tomorrow.
Responsibilities

  • Push creativity and challenge conventional thinking to solve a large assortment of design problems.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Apply core engineering principles to ensure quality, usability, and performance
  • Participate in agile development process, including daily scrum, sprint planning, code reviews, and quality assurance activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters or PhD program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other relevant fields.
  • React/JavaScript, and Object-Oriented programming skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the Agile process
