Are you a hard-working software engineer with good knowledge of software testing quality practices, a passion for scalability, reliability, and reusable code, and the ability to embrace emerging concepts? This might be the role for you!

We're seeking a Software Test Engineer to run all aspects of testing across a large multiplatform environment. This person will partner with various teams (product, engineering, and quality) to develop processes and tools. This allows the organization to excel in its continuous software development initiatives. As code is being deployed multiple times daily, test coverage and automation are important in allowing the product team to deliver quickly to market while maintaining the high quality our consumers deserve across our many diverse platforms. This role will give you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting many products on varied release cycles and provide software testing support across apps and sites, implementing established testing strategies and standard processes

Testing: Perform load/performance testing, develop automated tests to validate product features, perform exploratory testing and regression testing where necessary

Maintenance: Help with the maintenance of testing framework for various types of testing (functional, load/performance, security) on multiple platforms (web, iOS/Android, emerging platforms)

Collaboration: Efficiently communicate complex or difficult information to technical and non-technical audiences, operate in an agile software delivery methodology focused on testing new features within an iteration, and provide near immediate feedback to engineers through test automation Basic Qualifications

3+ years or equivalent level knowledge of test automation frameworks (specifically object-oriented) and developing automated test scripts (web, mobile & OTT)

Strong software development, technical architecture, and object-oriented programming background

Experience with Java or Javascript, Unix/Linux, Version control systems (svn, git, stash), and Test tools (Selenium, Webdriver, Junit, TestNG, Appium, Cypress)

Proficiency with continuous development/build tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and performance testing tools (jMeter, LoadRunner)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field

TDD and BDD experience

Online streaming video experience (web, mobile, and new technologies)

Proxy tools experience (Charles, Fiddler, Httpwatch)

Technical/working knowledge of information technology concepts, local and wide area networks, content delivery networks, database theory, and validated understanding of caching strategies

Web video playback, encoding, live stream, and similar concepts experience
