Compensation: $83,000+ DOE

Software Engineer Summary:

Our Software Engineers perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. Software Engineers design and develop software applications. In this role, the Software Engineer will gain exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Technologies used include Java, Javascript, Postgres, HTML, React, Angular, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on work experience with web servers written with Java (JAX-RS), Python (Flask, Django), and Node.js.

Duties:

• Good unit-level and system-level testing, documentation habits.
• Ability to navigate a code base to find class with little to no guidance.
• Understanding of basic git commands.
• Ability to perform “peer reviews”.
• Ability to design/update features based on client feedback.
• Develop capabilities and design code with “end-user” needs in mind.
• Object-oriented design/development or functional design/development.

Required Essential Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience with web frameworks: React, Angular
• 3+ years experience with web clients: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Java
• 3+ years experience with web services: REST, WebSockets, Messaging, XML/JSON
• 3+ years experience with common version control systems: Git, Mercurial, SVN
• 3+ years experience with relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• 3+ years experience with Java Security APIs or PKI

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance; current active clearance is a plus.
• Completed BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• You will be asked to complete a programming assessment to be considered for this role.
