Junior Front-End Web Developer

Position: This is a fulltime, work-from-home, hourly position that directly reports to the Development and Digital Project Manager.

RYNO Strategic Solutions is looking for a skilled Junior Front End Web Developer.

IMPORTANT: Applicants who do not have experience developing layered design mockups (XD, PSD, etc.) into HTML/CSS from scratch will not be considered.

Ideal Candidate:

• Advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Highly proficient in WordPress development
• Familiarity with Adobe XD and Photoshop to code designs into websites
• 2+ years of front-end web development experience

REQUIRED:

• 1+ years of front-end web development experience
• Comfortable with responsive, mobile-first website design techniques
• Excellent understanding of the CSS box model and flexbox
• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation

Preferred, but not required:

• Understanding of CSS preprocessors such as SASS
• Familiarity with PHP inside of WordPress
• Experience building custom themes or plugins for WordPress from scratch (not from ThemeForest, etc.)
• Basic understanding of JavaScript/jQuery
