REMOTE FULL STACK DEVELOPER

The Full Stack Developer at We Inform LLC is a results-oriented, collaborative, analytical and growth-minded individual who works hands-on alongside our dynamic Development Team. They continuously strive to expand and develop our consumer ecommerce platforms and websites. They have an in-depth understanding of both front and back end development, and are able to design solutions to complex applications problems, systems administration issues, or network concerns. They have a proven track record, and a passion for learning new tools and technologies and identifying system improvements. This position requires multitasking on various projects and scheduling tasks to ensure operations stay on track.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Designing, building, or maintaining websites, using scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
  • Writing supporting code for web applications or web sites.
  • Evaluating code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with applicable browsers, devices, or operating systems.
  • Developing databases that support web applications and websites.
  • Performing website tests according to planned schedules, or after any product revisions.
  • Analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Responding to user email inquiries or setting up automated systems to send responses.
  • Collaborating with management or users to develop and integrate e-commerce solutions.
  • Conferring with management and development team to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, and choose solutions.
  • Communicating with network personnel or website hosting agencies to address hardware or software issues.
  • Documenting test plans, testing procedures, and test results.
  • Recommending and implementing performance improvements.
  • Providing clear, detailed descriptions of website specifications, including product features, activities, software, communication protocols, programming languages, and operating systems software and hardware.
  • Evaluating or recommending server hardware or software.
  • Monitoring security system performance logs to identify problems and notifying security specialists when problems occur.
  • Designing and implementing website security measures, such as firewalls and message encryption.
  • Maintaining understanding of current technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3)+ years experience in Software Development.
  • Experience in Node, Javascript, HTML/CSS, Angular, GIT, and Mongo DB.
  • B2B or B2C subscription experience preferred.
  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on alongside your team. Experience working in a cross-functional Scrum team is preferred but not required.
  • Strong critical thinking with urgency and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable building reports and analyzing large sets of data across website and marketing channels with a highly analytical view.
