Responsibilities:
The Software Developer will be responsible for creating new software systems, maintaining existing systems, and providing support to customer applications. The successful candidate will develop an excellent understanding of Sockeye’s product and work directly with the Chief Technology Officer and Founder to develop further features to support industrial maintenance scheduling applications.

• Add and modify product features as needed
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing systems
• Help operate the key technology platforms that power our business
• Build data integrations with third party ERP/EAM Systems
• Analyze requirements, design, develop, and update and repair solutions
• Produce technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
• Respond to and repair software bugs, technical support requests, and requested functionality
• Provide quick and reliable turnaround of customer requests
• Maintain accurate records on pending and completed technical support requests
• Collaborate with Sockeye team, to manage customer expectations of technical solutions and future service requirements
• Offer technical advice and provide comments for internal and external customers
• Identify and develop innovative offerings to meet our customers’ growing needs
• Various other duties as required

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years working in software development and design
• Experience with JavaScript, C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft SQL Server
• Understanding of multi-tenant, multi-tier SaaS systems
• Experience building SPA web applications
• Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies and infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
• The ability to work well in a small, diverse, hybrid/remote development team.
• An interest in building a shared technical culture in terms of best practices, mentorship, knowledge sharing, process improvements, documentation and more
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to exceptional customer-service.
• Strong written and verbal English proficiency
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Other Relevant Technical Experience:

• jQuery, HTML, CSS, and SignalR
• SAP, SQL Server, and Oracle data integrations
• Firewalls, security, web proxies, and remote troubleshooting techniques

Salary: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
