JavaScript Job: Junior Developer

BASG is looking for developers to fill the full-time in-house positions with our team located in our Tamiami/West Kendall office.

As a minimum requirement, the candidate must be proficient with: React Native, PHP, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

Candidate must be able to work on multiple programming and development tasks simultaneously and take direction well. Familiarty with SCRUM and project managment software. Candidate should be a critical thinker with outstanding problem-solving capabilities. Experience with object-oriented programming and version control/git is a must. You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
• Work with project managers or product owner to meet specific needs
• Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
• Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
• Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs
• Document all programming tasks and procedures
• Perform routine software maintenance

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
• Knowledge of Javascript, PHP, Python, or other programming languages
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgre and SQL Server
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
