JavaScript Job: Database Manager

NEAR UA is looking for a Database Manager who will join a dynamic startup environment.

This vacancy we’re filling for our friends — a web3 company which is the leading Web3 TLDs and Domains platform where users can register and mint their own customized Web3 TLDs. This is a full-time remote opportunity with business trips to Zurich.

Team

The team consists of around 15 people (founder, CTO, Software Architect, back-end SEs, front-end SEs, UI/UX Designer, Marketing Managers, Sales) who are located primarily in the EU (Switzerland. The team develops and improves their own products, and most of the code is in open source.

Responsibilities

• support the Team in managing the informations contained in the database, applying changes, insertion or deletion when needed
• implement security rules, scalability measures and optimizations
• support the data maintenance and editing of user settings based on tickets
• empowering the security of the database
• manage the scalability of the infrastructure
• optimizing indexing
• providing information to the Team with queries and views

• minimum 1 years of experience with MongoDB 4 or more
• expertise with MongoDB platform and architecture
• knowledge of MongoDB Pipelines
• deep understanding of Javascript
• knowledge of System Architecture and DBMS
• OWASP Secure Coding Practice

Will be a plus

• candidate has knowledge of Business Intelligence Solutions
