JavaScript Job: Workato Consultant

This is a remote position.
We are looking for an exceptional Workato Consultant to join our fast growing Workato Solutions practice.

In this role, you will:

• Drive successful automations for our clients - help them serve their customers and employees with better experiences in a daily basis using Workato.

• Develop integration recipes connecting to enterprise applications such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Marketo, SAP, ServiceNow, Workday etc.

• Build automation bots from Slack and Microsoft Teams

• Extend Workato platform's functional boundaries using programming language exits (Java, Ruby, Python) as well as calling external Javascript, Lambda functions for out-of-the-world transformations

• Build internal automations for the company in order to drive business efficiencies for Sales, Marketing, Recruiting and RevOps functions.

• Be an expert in troubleshooting, debugging and analysis

• Have great communication skills and be solution minded - be ready to ask the "Why" question ahead of determining the "What" and ultimately the "How"

• Help Workato customers approach and resolve technical problems and design scalable services.

• Gather requirements via client meetings and lead solution design process jointly with customers, Business Development and Engineering teams

• Develop capabilities and features based on customer requirements as well as to extend Workato connector capabilities via HTTP and SDK

• Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to Workato’s knowledge base

• Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service experience to Workato customers

Requirements

• Background in information systems, computing, engineering or equivalent industry experience preferred

• Have 3-5 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Solutions Architect, Professional Services, or Post-sales support roles

• Experience working with Integration Platform such as TIBCO, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft etc.

• Knowledge of Implementing Integration projects is a must

• Strong working knowledge with APIs - RESTful

• Sound knowledge of Data Structure - JSON

• 1-2 years of coding experience (Java/Python)

• Sound knowledge of any RDBMS

• Knowledge of SOAP/XML is a plus

• Technical background or a good understanding of technology and industry trends, especially in the app integration space

• Experience working with cloud business apps like Workday / NetSuite / Salesforce / ServiceNow / Marketo is a plus

• Strong collaboration skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic start-up environment with a passion for making an impact

• Strong critical thinking, analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind-set

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time, even under high-pressure situations

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience

• Fast learner who can independently conduct extensive research, and synthesize ideas, information and options quickly​

• Be proactive about solving problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
