JavaScript Job: Junior Front-End React Developer

Job Summary

Prospective candidates will have experience in and knowledge in the front-end React environment. An adherence to consistent coding standards and best practices is imperative to this role, as well as the ability to code within a team based environment. An eye for UI/UX design, and experience in this realm, will be given first consideration.

Prospects must be able to prove basic knowledge in this space with a live coding exam, administered by our senior front end staff.

Ideal candidates will be self-driven independent individuals with the ability to quickly learn in a remote environment.

Required / Desired Skills & Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a React-based front-end environment
• Understanding and familiarity with the LAMP stack
• Experience with docker/lando instances
• Basic knowledge of MySQL relational databases
• Developing applications in React including component design and state management for specific use cases
• Basic front end JavaScript/TypeScript experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff would be preferred

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related fields, or equivalent work experience is given first preference.

This is a remote position that offers a salary of $60,000 - $75,000.
