Job Description

As a developer, you will help us transform the current architecture to a new target architecture by driving technical design and implementation.

You will be part of a newly established product team with the responsibility to deliver digital solutions to optimize our internal communication and colleague engagements in the LEGO Group.

Core Responsibilities

  • You have a passion for building scalable solutions that enable your users to work efficiently
  • You are a phenomenal teammate that loves the dynamics of an autonomous full-featured product team with an end-to-end responsibility and a close collaboration with the business
  • You are encouraged to continuously improve engineering practice according to defined quality standards for product, architecture characteristics, codebase, documentations, and APIs
  • In our mind, test-driven development and test automation shall be in every developer’s daily practice, and it is also your job to continuous integrate and continuous deploy
  • It would be outstanding if you also have experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development

You will, together with developers, and partners in the business help the LEGO Group optimize and maintain products such as our digital social workspace and employee play engagement, local community engagement (LCE), digital child safety, and supporting the wider social responsibility agenda of the LEGO Group.

We work in an agile way and apply engineering, architecture, and product management practices to ensure we build what brings the most value to our customers and ensure a close feedback loop.

Do you have what it takes?

  • proven track record in back-end software development using JavaScript/Typescript or other high-level programming languages
  • Experience with OAuth and or OIDC and IAM
  • Demonstrable experience of operating high-performance serverless solutions in the cloud, preferably on AWS
  • Experience in automating build/deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
  • Experience with React.js and or GraphQL
  • SharePoint online / SPFx SharePoint framework
  • You are the Team player that embraces diversity and enjoys a flexible and inspiring environment
  • You have right mentality for User Experience (UX) design thinking and use this as key element for technical solution

Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
