JavaScript Job: Quality Engineer

You are confident in software testing in a collaborative, agile environment. You are comfortable working with software engineers and familiar with best practices for quality automation. We work in a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment that serves hundreds of deployments to our global platform daily. We are looking for those excited by the challenge of implementing innovative automated quality controls in our constantly evolving platform.

• Creating automated testing with JavaScript and/or Java. Experience with Typescript
• Helping the team improve test process and automation in an agile environment
• Exploratory Testing
• Challenging Scope Requirements
• Ability to design detailed test documentation
• Configuring Continuous Integration environments and supporting Continuous Deployment
• Comfortable with Git (BitBucket, Github, GitLab) or similar source control solutions
• Previous experience identifying and developing quality solutions within Engineering and Product teams
• Design and develop the testing automation framework

Here's what we're looking for from our QUALITY ENGINEER expert…

• 3+ years experience in developing software automating tests using tools such as Cypress.io and/or Appium.io and/or Selenium
• Continuous Integration / Deployment using tools Jenkins and Circle CI
• Common test automation design patterns
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners and Developers to improve the future releases of the software
• REST Web Services and HTTP for backend testing
• Ability to write basic or complex SQL statements
• Test-Driven and Behaviour-Driven Deployment practices and tools/frameworks
• Proven experience creating and developing testing frameworks that ensure and improve quality within a CD environment
• Previous experience working with scrum methodologies such as Agile or Kanban
• Exposure to Cloud service providers (preferably AWS) is a plus
• Experience with Load Tests using Artillery framework is a big plus
