Junior Mobile/Web Developer

Job Summary

As a member of our development team, the Junior Mobile/Web Developer will create effective technology-based solutions to meet operational and customer needs of Signature Ace Inc. This may involve web, desktop, or mobile applications, and encompass both the development of in-house solutions and the integration of commercial or external solutions into Signature Ace workflows.

This position will be a part-time position, focusing on developing new mobile and web application functions, bug testing and fixing and improvements to our existing in-house developed applications. The position is expected to be ongoing and has the potential to expand responsibilities overtime, with the opportunity to continue onto other projects. The project uses the following languages: C# (.net core), MySQL, and Javascript. Experience with these will be a requirement of the successful candidate.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understanding client and organisational requirements and how they translate into our application features.
• Collaborating with senior company management and our development team lead to set specifications for new applications.
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines.
• Perform appropriate testing before release.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Evaluate existing applications to refactor, update, and add new features.
• Maintain existing software systems and solutions.
• Adhering to coding standards and practices.
• Developing technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
• Perform other duties as required to meet the mandate of the position.

Qualifications

• Ability to program in C# (.net core)
• Ability to perform development with JavaScript and experience working with MySQL database software.
• Ability to work responsibly and in an organized manner, with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a small team environment.
• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Successful candidates may be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check as a condition of employment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Salary: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
