- Design, Develop, and Maintain ServiceNow Applications: Lead the development and implementation of complex, custom ServiceNow solutions, including applications, workflows, and scripts.
- System Administration: Oversee administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user roles, dashboards, reports, and integrations.
- Integration and Automation: Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other technologies to extend the functionality of the ServiceNow platform.
- Solution Architecture: Serve as the primary architect for ServiceNow projects, ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs and are scalable.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and system administrators.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for platform optimization, automation, and innovation to improve system performance and user experience.
- Customization: Customize ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, UI, and service catalog items based on business requirements.
- Technical Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and system workflows.
- Agile Development: Work within an Agile framework, including participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Incident and Problem Management: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications, integrations, and platform performance.
- 6+ years of experience in IT development, with a focus on ServiceNow for at least 7+ years.
- Expert-level proficiency in ServiceNow: Including Service Catalog, Incident/Problem/Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, and Service Portal.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with integrations using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.
- Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and how ServiceNow is used to implement ITIL processes.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules like HR Service Delivery, ITBM, ITOM, and SecOps is a plus.
- ServiceNow Certifications: Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified System Administrator, or other related certifications.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Proven ability to work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet those needs.
- Leadership abilities: Ability to lead and mentor junior developers and team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
