JavaScript Job: Salesforce Developer || Certified || Remote

Client - Health Care (Federal)

Program: MATS (Marketplace Assister Technical Support)

Responsibilities:

1. Support Index Analytics Government clients in Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area
2. Develop and spearhead the establishment of corporate-level Salesforce development best practices, ensuring they are robust, up-to-date, and in line with industry-leading standards
3. Create and implement performance standards for assessing the work of Salesforce developers and administrators to promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team
4. Author and maintain practice-level documentation that clearly outlines the established development practices and performance criteria for Salesforce operations at Index
5. Conduct audits and technical reviews of Salesforce projects, identifying technical gaps and area for improvement
6. Work on multiple projects and help establish and evaluate Salesforce Development
7. Identify and resolve integration challenges with other applications
8. Hands-on coding experience, with a willingness to work with the technical team to resolve problems and provide mentorship to other Developers
9. Establish CI/CD Pipelines for Salesforce with various tools such as Copado.

1. Lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (relevant work experience may be considered a suitable replacement)
3. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
4. Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I
5. Previous experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud (Site/Communities)
6. Expertise in APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning Experience
7. Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to support code SDLC and working knowledge of Salesforce DevSecOps tooling such Copado, SonarQube, Checkmarx or similar
8. Proficient in Agile Methodologies and SDLC
9. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Force.com Platform
10. Expertise in Data and Metadata Migration strategies
11. Experience in designing the integration using middleware tools/Rest & Soap APIs
12. Experience and knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks and tools (e.g., Angular, jQuery)
13. Strong leadership of technical teams including the ability to mentor and lead other senior technical personnel
14. Experience creating system architecture, network, user/data flow diagrams etc. and articulate the technical architecture and tooling choices to business and technical stakeholders
15. Effective client management with demonstrated success and client satisfaction
16. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
17. Experience in creating robust practice-wide best-practices and policy documentation
18. Security Clearance: ability to obtain Public Trust level clearance

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

1. Previous Government contracting experience
2. MuleSoft or use of other Integration tools
3. Experience with Public Sector Solutions is a plus
4. Experience leading Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) or Community of Practice (CoP)

This role, a typical day will include:

1. 75% of this role involves programming, using Apex, Salesforce lightning component (AURA/LWC), JavaScript, and other development languages and tools.
2. Developing Lightning components both by writing custom LWC in JavaScript with Aura framework and within the Salesforce Lightning Design System, maintaining fluency with Apex, Salesforce query, and Salesforce Search language (SOQL and SOSL).
3. Supporting the Product Owner in gathering requirements by providing solution options and highlighting dependencies with the existing implementation.
4. Overseeing the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform {Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Portals), and Tableau CRM} and integrations.
5. Developing and configuring solutions using Salesforce functionality/Lightning Components (AURA and LWC), APEX, Visualforce Pages, SOQL, and SOSL etc.
6. Leading the complete development process from requirement analysis to deployment
7. Reviewing and providing feedback on technical implementations and documents and ensures that Salesforce best-practices and standards are followed
8. Collaborating with junior developers to perform code reviews and provide feedback.
9. Creating and maintaining technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/procedures.
10. Mentoring and providing guidance to the development team members
11. Participating in the full application life cycle - design, development, testing, and deployment
12. Assisting in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during the deployment and implementation of the solution in production environments
13. Collaborating with Solutions Architects, Development Manager, Development Team, Business Analysts, Client, and other Agile team members to solve complex policy and system integration involving activities across several Salesforce Orgs.
